About Sean F. Daley

Mr. Daley joined Welter as an Associate Attorney in 2015. Mr. Daley represents employers and advises management in all aspects of both state and federal employment litigation, including single and multi-plaintiff discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and harassment claims, and wage and hour class actions. He also conducts workplace investigations and represents companies in administrative complaints before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the California Labor Commission.

Mr. Daley also counsels employers with respect to employee discipline and terminations and advises management on various employment-related issues, including employment policies and procedures, compliance with California and federal anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and wage and hour laws, and workplace investigations.

He previously served as an associate attorney with a Pasadena-based litigation defense firm, where he represented both public and private entities in litigation matters involving employment, civil rights, product liability, construction defect, personal injury and insurance coverage disputes, as well as general business litigation. During law school, he served as a law clerk for a general business litigation defense firm and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, in Los Angeles. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Daley was a high school teacher and basketball coach.
